Behind adequate pitching and
timely hitting, the Cleveland Indians swept the St. Louis Cardinals to
capture their first World Series title since 1948. It took the Indians 6
games to defeat the Braves from Boston 52 years ago, but the modern day
Indians were able to celebrate in a much more timely fashion this year.
Congratulations to the Cleveland Indians, and we look forward to an
eventful 2001 Filarecki Strat Season!
